Despite his debut album’s great success, James Morrison has revealed the pressures of writing and recording his sophomore album “Songs for You, Truths for Me.”

Morrison felt he had to make this album even better and says he felt very “pressured,” however the birth of his first daughter Elsie helped him to let it go.

“It made it easier for me having my daughter to concentrate on rather than my album, because you have to let it go and see what happens. I’d put everything I had into it. And if it wasn’t successful then it wasn’t. The most important thing is that you believe in it, he said.
